Thule Ranger 90 Folding Roof Box Review

Postby rexgrant on Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:50 am

Hi
The new folding top box by Thule. As an owner and user There is one very weak spot prospective buyers should know about.
The zip is adequate but the way the zip puller is attached to the zip runner is really not up to the job, and will brake out when put under the pressure that is require to zip up the top bag.
Thule need to look into this problem as quickly as they can. if you purchase this product I recommend you also buy two 20mm diameter split rings to fit in the lock holes when the zip pull comes adrift as it will in my opinion, these split rings will at least allow you to continue to use it but not like it should.
Regards
Rex.
Camping is a special way of life, with a special kind of person who can make friends, even with other campers we have never met.

My friends, may the wind be always at your back.
