Hi
Wear Farm
http://caravan-smart.co.uk/details.asp? ... te&CI=7183
This campsite is for down to earth campers, the Toilet blocks are old but work well and are kept clean even in busy times.
The site stipulate the 6 metre Rule so no over crowding. Large field for units requiring an EHU 3 fields for units without EHU and from the school holidays to close you can pitch in the two fields over the bridge adjoining the Teign Estuary. where you can have a fire on the beach or launch your boat.
You can launch your boat free but Jet skis are banded.
From wear Farm you are close to most south Devon and Torbay towns,
I can recommend this site for a down to earth holiday,If you require flower shower curtains and preity tiles DONT GO this site has all the modern conveniences including a laundry and shop, is clean but basic.
Regards
Rex.

Camping is a special way of life, with a special kind of person who can make friends, even with other campers we have never met.

My friends, may the wind be always at your back.

Hi GM
The site in generally is dog friendly, most campers would let their dogs off the leads on the banks of the estuary, and in the field we were camped in.
But on the estuary in certain places it is very muddy at low tide,But both waterside fields have small clean beaches for supervised children and dogs to play in the water or launch a small inflatable on a rope. and plenty of rabbits for the dogs to chase T*U
Regards
Rex.
