Skipsea Sands

Postby grey camper on Mon Aug 24, 2009 1:54 pm

Hi, Just a weekend at Skipsea Sands, with the grandkids, thought I would play safe as it was a long time since I went camping (50 years ago)
We stayed on the camping pitch. We had a few MEN, who had been drinking all day,
then decided to have a rave with music blasting from two car radios, phone security twice, nothing happened, complained the next day to the office.
I would recommend anyone who goes there to use the service pitch as these were quite, there was no hot water for a full day, toilets out of action.
The access to the beach is closed due to coastal erosion, so its a good long walk or by car to get on the beach, which was still a bit dodgy, this is not stated on the web or brochure, not realy inpressed. The camp was very clean.
