Hi
The C&C Club site at Folkestone No caravans due to access but motorhomes use the site as a stop over before the channel tunnel and ferries.

This is another of my favorite sites. This is a site you can feed foxes outside your tent the flora and forna is wonderful in the warren, and like its name is run wick with rabbits.
The area is steeped in history and world war 11 relics,
I am reliably informed the shore fishing is excellent and within 50m of the site gate :D
Yes you camp under the start, of the white cliffs of Dover, and very impressive too.
One thing with this site you do get flash flooding,so be aware when choosing a pitch for your tent. One of the more tempting pitches is at the bottom of a slope 50 yards into the site on your left.Unless your 100% sure of no heavy rain DO NOT USE THIS PITCH I have seen it fill to 12" deep within 10 minutes of the rain storm starting the water draining onto the site from the hills around is channeled down the road from the centre of the site it then all runs into this pitch from the two pitches to the right and down the steep bit of road into the hollow. in the first link they show numerous tents 6m apart in this pitch. this is the pitch

Here are a few photos of the site

Well worth a stay facilities first class, just choose your pitch carefully if rain is forecast.
Regards
Rex.
Camping is a special way of life, with a special kind of person who can make friends, even with other campers we have never met.

My friends, may the wind be always at your back.
