Mark and Sue, had a very close call on the way home from Eskdale last year Keely, an overtaking police car caused them to swerve and hit the kerb and the trailer turning over.

I dont remember all the details exactly but Im sure Mark and Sue do, and will fill you in better than I..

Good luck Smap you'll be fine,
It sounds a terible thing that happened to you,
I must admit I hate towing anything including our camping trailer but I think the thing to do is start off on roads you know really well to build your confidence back up, thats what I would do if I had to do it,
I did tow our camping trailer the other week because Nedra wasn't around and I needed to take it to my dads and on roads I know well and all was fine but I wouldn't do it if I get the option.
Good luck and get the first tow out the way you'll be fine,
Happy camping
Every day should be a camping day.

Gee What a terrible thing to happen. They were both fine though??

Trailer can be replaced - people can't.

I hope that you don't decide to give up and take advice from Gaz.

Hi Good luck SM&P
We will be taking our half a tent out for the first time next week,I will also have to get used to towing something wider than the car again,it is a few years since we went through our caravan years.
I hope all goes well for you,I am sure it will.
Rex.
Camping is a special way of life, with a special kind of person who can make friends, even with other campers we have never met.

My friends, may the wind be always at your back.
