Hi, Everybody
Well what can I say, my name is Pat (Patricia) Im from Manchester, retired, gone beyond telling how old I am, gave up on birthdays a long time ago.
Just bought a bell tent, decided to go camping, not done that since, oh I cant remember I know I was at school and we were still on rations
Well you only live once, decided to learn the grandchildren about the great outdoors, get them some fresh air in their lungs.
If anyone sees me, call over for a chat, cup of tea or whatever. Love campsites with real fires, dont worry I wont be singing, dont want rain. I also want to paint my tent, any ideas which paint I use.

Hi Pat

You sound like you'll fit right in here, we are a freindly bunch and like nothing better than getting out and about camping, why not consider bringing the grandkids to one of our meets, you'll be more than welcome, you just join in as much or as little as you want to

Hi,
Thank you for your warm welcome, I suppose it was easier camping when we were kids, none of this modern stuff, old army tents, cornbeef and SPAM, I hate the stuff, but surprised what you can do with it.
Everything fresh, pinched out the farmers field, should I say that.
But I loved it, very exciting when we were kids, mind you anyone passing, used to always call with food and check if you were okay, were not allowed to stay out at night, but we were there from the early mornings till late at night. Then again summer nights were longer in them days.
