Hello then Ill start.

Im Daisy 44 years young , im married to Adam(39) and we have three kids(16, 21, 23) and one grandson( 3).

We have been camping since the day we met (almost) but I used to go with my family whilst growing up, using the famous "rent a tent" hire tents.

I have various tents and an Avondale caravan called Mavis..

My kids sometimes come camping with me but I tend to take my grandson who loves the fresh air and freedom of a field.

Cant wait to meet all the members I have never met on the site...take care

Daisy

Hi all, we're Carol and Mark, we are both 36 and have 2 boys Aidan 9 and Luke 6.

We've been camping for about 3 years now and love it, it's been even better since we started going to meets.

We have a Bailey Pageant Moselle (not named!) and from now on will be sharing it with 2 springer spaniel pups.

Looking forward to my next meet, seeing old friends and meeting new.

Hello, my name's Roger and i'm an alcoh.............sorry, wrong forum

Roger (54) And Julie (bit younger)

Two kids, one of each both in their 20's (Yahaaay!)

Started camping when Baden-Powell was a lad and like to combine our trips with sea fishing so usually pick sites by a beach, we use two steel framed canvas tents, usually one at a time but sometimes together for longer trips so we can sleep and dress in one and live/cook in the other

So if you see two old frats in a little canvas tent come over and have a tinny, we're partial to the odd shandy

Hope to meet some more of you now we're no longer meet virgins

:D Hi, Bernie here - the big 50. Married to Richard 43 (toy boy), two kids Philip - Pip, 10 and Alice 7. Yes foolish enough to start late in life.
We have just bought an ancient folding camper/caravan, and have a couple of tents. I am hoping to get away to a local site next week to try the new toy out.
We love the freedom that camping gives.

Hello all.

Im Paul (33) married to Tracy (I value my life too much!). We have Jordan (10) and Mykel ( 8 ).

Tent 1 is a Leben Lingen 6. Tent 2 is a Gelert Meridian 10.

Only really been to one site so far so my point of view on where to camp is somewhat limited, but bound to get better.

hello, we are Nicola (29) and im a single parent to Josie (4) and Stanlee (2) i discovered camping just over 3 years ago, i only ever stayed in static caravans when we were younger. Not sure what my tent is but its a 6 berth 3 bedroom one with plenty of room which is good cos theres always some one tagging along with us.
We are from Barrow-in-Furness and like to camp in the local area, Bardsea, Eskdale and Askam are a few faves.
Since i began camping i have realised how lucky i actually am living so close to the lakes so now take advantge of it by camping out and enjoying the scenery, its great.

Hello

Postby Jay n Trace on Sun Aug 17, 2008 8:26 am

Hello everybody we are Jason, Tracy and Jack (13). Sorry not admitting how old we are  You have all probably met my family SMP well we are quiet compared to them :o We have probably as many tents as Mark n Sue but mostly camp in our Grand Canyon 4.

We live in Failsworth Manchester. We loved Red Bank Farm on the 1st, 2nd, August and met some wonderful people there. We were going to stay another night on the Sunday and come back Monday but after a bit of bother decided to pack up and go. We would like to thank Roger and Julie for staying with us until we had packed up it was much appreciated :D

Fisherground was great but what a nightmare to get there. Jack loved it with his cousin on the rafts and the park.

Hope to see you all soon on a meet and hopefully meet some more campers

Hi we are Liz (40) Graham (46) Michael (9) and Alice (6). We have a Khyam Ontario 6 with sun Porch which we love and also an Easy Camp Milano 500 which only gets used occassionally. Haven't ever managed to get to any organised camping meetings, usually just go our own merry way and have a good time. Seem to recognise some of the names on here
