Hi all
Well our Icey Tec cool box came this morning with 2 Aussie gel packs. The sites it is meant for have no jell pack freezing freezing and are miles from a shop
So it is a must to keep things frozen for at least 5 days and below 4 deg 'C' for two 7 days in all. http://www.icey-tek.co.uk/product.asp?C ... turnPage=0
Also these enamel plates and dishes are excellent value for the ageing boy scouts amongst us,who are likely to put their plate down on the hot embers   , http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/shop/ ... -wear.html

But the dutch oven set is out.  she as spoke
Rex.

Camping is a special way of life, with a special kind of person who can make friends, even with other campers we have never met.

My friends, may the wind be always at your back.

Rex I love the enamel Items especially the tea and coffee pots I may par take in one of those each for Mavis the caravan.

Do they have extra heating qualities or will enamel go cold quick?

Hi Daisy
I don't think they have any additional keep warm qualities but they are fireproof  and tough. As they may have to be washed with sand in a stream in the near future,
Rex.
