I think it's still hard coming out in public and telling all your a camper! the shock to your parents and friends workmates etc.

Like myself, I find the more remote wooded sites are better when you 1st come-out. the brazen shows in a field full of tt and those down the nose looking caravan types can be so off-putting.

lol

I work all day Sunday and Monday is the only day OH and OH and I are off together so we usually do something - boring shopping in Carlisle this week but did discover a Dunelm Mill that for the past 10 years have never noticed before !! On a good day it's the motorbikes

Did get a nice thermal double cover for the aero bed - single £8, double £9 (or 7 and 8 I didn't pay lol)

They also had double aero beds for £30 and single ones for £20

That's what we thought too.

It seemed to be - there was a single one in boxes that was red on top and clear underside (if you get my meaning) That said something like sleep over bed on it and was priced at £19.99

There were doubles in boxes that were priced £29.99 and they looked just like an ordinary double (not active or exporer).

But they had a single blown up and on display and it was one of the blue flocked ones.

Do you know about the codes to use if you are ordering from Aero bed themselves?

STAFF2007 or STAFF2008

We used the 2007 one and bought the double Explorer one which is on a reduced price already and thin it was about £47 ish

I genuinly couldn't imagine life without camping or vanning, I love it, OUr friends call us sad (especially as we bought a caravan when we we're eighteen) but love every minute,
We have been all over the place and when we want a weekend away we just go,
When we are not away I am thinking about it or on the internet talking about it or buying stuff for it.
I think a lot of people join forums with the hope of starting camping, and long hot summer days and children playing and warm evenings,
Then when they go that bubble bursts and you either make or break it.
Personally weather doesn't put me off, we have been out in tents and the van in all sorts (including the big flooding in 2007) and we make the best of every occasion,
I am addicted to it but hey ho its better than being addictied to anything else.
Every day should be a camping day.

Hi SM&P

I think it his that we are all very special, down to earth, friendly, people I think that covers it
Rex :D
Camping is a special way of life, with a special kind of person who can make friends, even with other campers we have never met.

My friends, may the wind be always at your back.
