Got my Delta pegs through yesterday. Box of 8. Doesnt look like I have had the discount though. As I understand it you pay full price and then get the discount as a refund later on. Anyone know how long it takes for them to apply the discount refund?

Hi Paul ,

This from my original e-mail from Rob ,

I would make it clear that if people want to order, a discount is not immediate and that it has to be refunded manually. (You probably know what I mean). Maybe a code such as NWC in the message field.

I'm sure it will be in the process , but if you give him a quick e- mail and mention North West Campers it will be sorted for you .

Hi Paul, have you checked your account yet? The refund was sent to you.
If you haven't got it, we need to check it out.

Hi
Yes I have used the DGA for two years now, and tested them personally against other pegs, they came out way above all other designs of pegs. Its the way they do it,as the man said.
Simple explanation standard pegs are attached to the top and hit home at approx 45deg. in a gale each time the wind gusts it tugs at the top of the standard peg it does this every time the wind gusts pull release pull release, now if we want to get a stake out of the ground that is what we do push it back and forward until it is loose enough to come out.
But with the DGA (Delta Ground Anchor) it does not work that way when the wind gusts it pulls on the end of the top bar, the force is directed at the point of the DGA in the ground, so instead of been pulled back and forth until it comes loose and out ,
the tendency is to lift and dig in just like an anchor on a 200,000 ton oil tanker, The only way the wind can remove a Delta peg is to physically pull it through the ground. here is a little diagram I attempted to draw. I think it gives people an idea of the way the DGA works.

Rex.
Camping is a special way of life, with a special kind of person who can make friends, even with other campers we have never met.

My friends, may the wind be always at your back.

DGA's are ace, end of story. You cannot go tenting anywhere without these.
